BIg Problems Please HELP!

OK I've got a 2004 all-road 2.5 v6 turbo diesel, had it about 3 months now.
first problem is it has started juddering when i pull away almost like it is in too higher gear but this seems to have cleared up now not sure what that is.
second problem is it's really reluctant to start especially when it's cold however it is not starting well warm particularly either.
Third thing I'm concerned about is a noise coming from the engine like a crunchy rattling sound?

Until about a week ago everything was running perfectly does any one have any idea what the problem or problems might be?
It has gone in for it's service and i've got them to have a look a the glow plugs too.

ANy help is appreciated.

Turns out the cam belt has slipped off and the tensioners and runners have fallen to peices.
Looks like no engine damage some how?
But will still be a huge bill from the garage.
That answers the noise problem and possibly the juddering when pullling away hopefully a full service will fix the other issues.
Just praying that there isn't any other hidden nasty's.
